It has a 143 bed capacity, all in private rooms, and a full complement of specializations, including cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, psychiatry, mammography, occupational medicine, and oncology. In addition, it operates a family medicine and urgent care clinic with the Fairfield compound itself. Pardee Memorial Hospital in Hendersonville is a full service, 222 bed community hospital with an additional 40 bed extended care unit. It underwent a major expansion in 1996. A second medical facility a few miles north in Fletcher is the 103 bed Park Ridge Hospital, with a full range of general, acute and surgical care components. Less than an hour away in Asheville, there are larger institutions and more specialized services to meet virtually any health care requirement.
